What are the goals of this project?

Can I enter multiple animals?

One pet per entry, please.

My dog won’t sit and stay. Is that a deal-breaker?

Not at all. You can keep your dog on leash the whole session (I will be glad to remove the leash in Photoshop!)

Can I enter my cat?

You know your cat better than anyone. If you feel that your cat would be at ease in a studio setting, I’d love for you to enter. We can discuss how to make the experience as comfortable as possible for your feline friend.

Are people allowed in the photos?

The calendar will be strictly pets, but you are welcome to upgrade to a family or multi-pet session! This is a great option if you’re interested in creating artwork for your home that celebrates your relationship with your pet or other loved ones.

I've always dreamed of having custom artwork of my pet. What can I expect from the process?

Creating custom artwork of your pet is all about honoring how much they mean to you.

Before the session, we’ll meet in person so I can learn more about your pet and what makes them so special. We’ll also explore how you will most enjoy your images so I can be ready to present you with custom-designed portrait options at your ordering appointment.

I take care of everything for you—right down to delivering and installing your portraits—so all you need to do is show up and enjoy a special time with your pet, capturing all the love you feel for them.

My goal is to create something timeless that will make your heart smile every time you see it, capturing your pet's unique spirit in a way you’ll cherish forever.

Tell me about the cover contest.

Upon completion of the photo sessions, all participants will be entered in a contest for the cover image (in addition to their featured month). This is a really fun way to get the community involved and boost donations for Helping Hands.

When will the calendar be available?

The 2026 Paws for a Cause calendar will be available to order by November 1st, 2025!

Is there a fee to apply?

There is no fee to apply. Accepted applicants who choose to participate will pay a registration fee upon booking their session.

• $250 portrait credit

• Calendar month feature
